I am very disappointed with Dr. Bonniwell. My wife’s consultation appointment, which we had scheduled two weeks in advance, was cancelled at the very last minute. Her teeth have been causing her significant pain recently, so we were counting on this visit to address the issue. Because of this appointment, we had rearranged or cancelled several other important commitments. We were told the cancellation was due to notes in our file indicating multiple no-shows. This is completely untrue. As responsible adults, we have never intentionally missed an appointment without cancelling beforehand, and we do not believe we have ever done so—even once, let alone multiple times. We were previously seen by Dr. Bonniwell for a consultation, but we either hesitated to proceed with the recommended tooth extraction (as we were reluctant to lose a tooth) or had to cancel for a legitimate reason. In any case, we strongly object to being falsely accused of multiple no-shows.

I dont usually reveiw much but as someone who went somewhere else for my lower wisdom teeth and here for my uppers, my experience here was much better! Everyone was so helpful and kind and the surgeon was amazing, called to check in as well the day after with reminders of what I should be doing and to call of have any issues. Would definitely recommend!

Do not go to this place if you have a young child. I have a 5 year old who needed a tooth pulled and has had bad experiences with dentists before and we went to our consultation which was $400 and the nurses and doctors all said that they could do the IV sedation and it would be so easy and quick and they had all these things to do to calm him down and are really good with kids and will work with him to make it a good experience. It seemed like they knew what they were doing and they said they pull teeth from young kids all the time. We go to the actual appointment and they were not helpful at all with calming my child down and the minute he made one attempt to pull a weird gauze with disgusting tasting stuff in his mouth out they said they would no longer do the procedure. The child is 5 so I don’t know what 5 year old is super good with having teeth pulled and wouldn’t cry or complain is crazy. The fact that they had no help and why they even were putting a weird tasting thing in his mouth before they sedated him I have no idea. They definitely do not work with children and I feel like I was swindled out of $400. They knew they were not going to do the procedure and they were no help. We live over an hour away and what an absolutely ridiculous way to spend a day. Do not go here; they are not helpful at all.

I just had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Bonniwell yesterday. His staff and him are nice and would answer any question. Explain everything you need to know before the surgery. During the IV line process, I like the nurse keep talking to me and encouraging me. I like how he is care for all his patients and get the doctor note for my school as soon as possible.

I have gone to Dr. Bonniwell for 2 surgeries so far. The first one was for removing my two molars. The process was so fast and smooth. He is truly the best. This is the first dentist that did the removal with no pain what’s so ever. I barely had to take any over the counter Tylenol. All the nurses and the stuff are very polite and truly amazing people. The second surgery I had was to remove all 4 wisdom teeth at once. I can’t believe how fast and smooth he did this. I feel 0 pain. All my friends were telling me this is going to suck and hurt after but it does not at all. This proves how amazing this doctor and the staff are. I believe he is truly the best in this area. Thank you Dr. Bonniwell and thank you to the staff. Don’t hesitate to book with him. He will take very good care of you.

Dr Bonniwell and his staff are so amazing at what they do! They are so caring and welcoming and helped me through my wisdom teeth journey seamlessly. I was incredibly nervous and they made sure to ease my anxiety and make it as easy as possible! I will 100% go back if i ever need any other procedure! I will be recommending them forever!!

I never write google reviews but this time I feel it's necessary. I just called this office to reschedule an appointment that we had to cancel. I was told they would have to 'clear it with the doctor' because we cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment. Politely, I explained to the person on the line that we, in fact, did not cancel less than 24 hours before. We called several times and since no one answered the phone, we had to leave a message canceling the appointment, which is why they probably thought it was less than 24 hours. I was told "we are not going to reschedule you if you are going to be difficult" I tried again to explain that I was trying to clarify a misunderstanding. I was then told "we're just not going to reschedule you" I am sorry, WHAT !?! I am proud of myself for not having lost my cool and I simply hung up. Dr Bonniwell, you should be careful, in the age of the internet, this type of transgression will not go unnoticed. Go find yourself some decent staff. There are so many nice people in need of jobs.

Dr. Tim Bonniwell and his lovely staff Joni , made sure my wisdom teeth removal went so smoothly! I felt so comfortable every step of the way & educated on the procedure that was taking place. Even after having my teeth removed they made sure to get me in quickly to see how I was doing, check on me and show me how to properly care for my wounds. They were very patient with me as I had never had surgery and was very anxious. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a setting so scary but they made everything very easy. I highly recommend, they treat their patients with the utmost care and respect. Thank you guys.

The first time I went to Dr. Bonniwell, it was for an emergency tooth extraction in the afternoon on Good Friday in 2017.  I remember feeling so relieved the moment I walked into the office & was met by the most wonderful staff; so friendly, kind & personable.  Since then, I have had several surgeries done by Dr. Bonniwell & would never go anywhere else for any kind of oral surgery, he is truly "top-notch!"  My son has also had his wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Bonniwell, & my husband has been as well. It's always a pleasant experience, the cutest office, never any pain & I never mind going. I love them all, & I always tell them that!!

Very unhelpful. Unpleasant sounding receptionist told me they wouldn't do a consult... just send me to Eastman Dental. WHY SAY you take on emergencies?! Misleading. (And not good at talking to someone with severe anxiety.)

I just recently had 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out. Before my appt. I was careless and didnt get my meds until sunday and came to realize i didnt have all the prescriptions i needed for the day of. The surgeon on his day off made it so i could get them right away. They made sure I understood everything that was going to happen before and after the surgery. They were great when I had to come back in and get my holes packed. I had to take my twin 2 yr Olds with me and they were so good to us while we were there. Very helpful. Could not have asked for a better place to take care of me. Definitely recommend them and I really don't like going to the dentist lol.
